My Kitchenaid was making a slight knocking noise. 2-10 home warranty sent a Sears repairman. He said it was the Baffle Motor and that the part was no longer available. 2-10 said sorry we can't help but here is $200.00. I have looked at sites for the part but cannot find a baffle motor listed as a part. Do I have any recourse for repair or do I have to buy a new refrigerator.

That is the baffle assembly that has been discontinued by the manufacturer. But there shouldn't be a need to replace the refrigerator, you could search the inter net or local appliance parts distributors for "antique" or "discontinued" parts. You could also disconnect the wiring harness, and open the baffle door 1/2 to 3/4 open. The automatic control feature won't operate, but there will be cool/cold air supplied to the meat pan.
