Where can I find the troubleshooting guide wiring diagram for kenmore refrigerator icemaker model # 10656576400 icemake model #106626663.
Ice maker is not making ice, water supply is ok, water inlet valve is not operating, but valve test ok. Light on side panel flashes twice, pause and flashes twice again, does not change when the door close switch is pressed

Hello,

Open the freezer door. Do not touch the door switch. Close the flapper door on the left side. Make sure the optic beam between the optic boards is clear and watch the LED on the right side. Post the results.

How do you test the optic beam and optic board. Is there suppose to be beam of light coming from the control?

Nothing changes when the flap is depressed. The control board light flashes twice and pause and flashes twice again ,does not matter if the flap is pushed in or not.

water supply is sporadic; red light at "on/off" icemaker switch is blinking;

could this in any way be due to the water filter needing to be replaced?

any ideas on what the problem may be?
