I had my Kenmore Elite dishwasher stop working completely and ended up replacing the fuse. It then was working perfectly again but only for about a month then it went out again. Assuming it was the fuse again I replaced it and all was good again. It then went out again about a week later only after using it two times. Replaced the fuse again and got it going. It has stopped again and I realize that something is causing the fuse to continually go out. It seems to stop when there is water in the unit during cleaning. I am not sure it the time it stops has anything to do with it.
Not sure if it is a faulty wire or a faulty electronic part.
Any ideas on what might be causing this would be very appreciated!
Thanks!

I cannot find any info on the given model number.
Tried here and the Sears site.
Please check it.

Did you also use the new harness that came with the fuse (if it included one)?
It is important that it be used.

Thanks Denman for the reply. I checked the model number and I did have one number wrong. The model # is 665.15932000, serial #FK4103038.
When I installed the new fuse I did not use the new harness as it seemed easier to just unclip and unplug the fuse and put the new one on instead of cutting the wires and putting connectors on. How would using the new harness help?
I also notice that it seems to be in the wash cycle when the fuse goes as there is always water sitting in the bottom. What would cause the fuse to continually go out?

Thanks

Could be that harness. It is a known problem with these units.

Thanks for advice about the harness. I wouldn't have thought it would be a potential problem but I did replace the fuse with the harness it came with and so far it seems to be holding up with two complete cycles and no problems.
