Whirlpool washer leaks from front - replaced pump... still leaks!

Hi! My top loading washer leaks from the bottom when filling - water drips from the front panel in about the middle of the machine. I removed the casing, watched it drip from the area of the pump. I replaced that... but it still drips!
Is it the hose that is shot? The machine is 11 or 12 years old. I put a screw clamp on there and really cranked down, but the dripping continues. Is this the nature of this kind of hose once it has exceeded it's life expectancy? Could it be something else? The leak is not coming down the hose from the tub, it seems to be where the hose attaches to the pump.

Hello,
It might be a broken hose. What is the complete model number of the washer?
Gene.

It is a Whirlpool Gold Ultimate Care II Washer that was purchased in 2002. I can't get back behind it at the moment. Is that enough info?

Sorry for the delay. The model number is under the lid.
Gene.
