I need instructions on how to disconnect the in/out water lines for my water filter. They actually connect to what I call the "filter interface assembly" (correct name?). I need to do this so I can replace the Control Box (PN24160881) which was previously damaged when I replaced the Control Board Assembly (PN5304452071) which is mounted in the box. The new Control Board works as it should but it does not "fit" well into the old Control Box so I got a new box. However, to replace the box it is necessary to disconnect the 2 water lines to the "filter interface assembly" (also in the Control Box), so I can remove the damaged control box. Then I will have to feed the 2 lines into the new Control Box, reconnect them to the "filter interface assembly" before I can put everything back together again. It looks to me like the water connectors may be a "press together" design and may require a special tool; each connector has a blue plastic ring that may be able to be pulled back and allow the fittings to come apart like a quick-connect connector. I am reluctant to try to pry them apart without some more information/instructions.
I hope my problem description is clear, and am hopeful that you can help me out. Thanks ahead of time.
