I have a fault code showing on the control board "SAB". Cannot find code in any manuals. The gas range works properly but when you attempt to use oven control board wont allow you to do anything and "SAB" is displayed. The only button that works is the cancel button... when pushed it beeps. Any ideas?

Hi.

Refer to the owners manual for the instructions on how to turn off the "Sabbath" mode.

Simon.

Hello,

To cancel the Sabbath Mode press and hold Clock button for 5 seconds or it will go off by itself after 72 hours.

Good morning appliance pros!
I'm still having issues, after trying to hold clock button in for 5 seconds... I did this but it didn’t work and now the whole key pad isn’t working. None of the buttons are working.
Would the next step be replacing the board?
Thank you,
Dave

Hi Dave,

Does it show time of the day on the display?

What happens if you push any button?

Try to unplug the range or turn off the circuit breakers for a few minutes and then plug it back.

Gene.
What is the end of the model number? What is the color of the keypad?

Hey Good Morning Gene!

The stove is actually electric... not a gas range. It is black the complete M# is WDE350LVSO. Unplugging it did not work.

Many thanks,
Dave

Hi Dave,

Sorry to hear it. Sounds like the control board itself is the culprit.

- The control board Part number: W10197045
Part number: W10197045

Here are the breakdown diagrams and Parts for Whirlpool WDE350LVS0 Range - AppliancePartsPros.com

Gene.
P.S. It does not matter if it's gas or electric with such problem.

Thanks AJ!

That's a great price on the board that the whirlpool needed, but my clients decided to go ahead and replace their stove/oven with a new model instead of putting their money towards a repair.

Best,
Dave
