I have a black GE gas cooktop, and I haven't been able to find a legit model for it. My wife pulled these numbers, but none of them seem to correspond to a model number: KIP 5C994 and 183D9413P001-5. It has a large burner on the front right, two medium sized on the left, and a small one in the back right. I may take a picture later if that can help somebody identify it.

The issue is a few months ago the ignitors stopped working; they don't make any clicking sounds. We have to manually ignite in the meantime, and it doesn't seem like they are clogged/out of place from cleaning. My guess is that there has been some sort of electric short, or blown fuse maybe? I don't know.

If you have any suggestions, or know what part may need to be replaced, please let me know! Thanks for your help.

Hi.

First thing to check is if you have the 120VAC at the wall outlet.
See if you can disassemble the unit and check the wiring harness inside. If all looks good - replace the spark module.
Find the part number on the body of the module.

Good luck.

Simon.
