I believe I have a bad cartridge on my range top (one element works, one doesn't). I have tested the terminals on the stove (with knob turned to on position and cartridge removed). It tests at 110v. is this correct?

Hi.

This is the 240VAC unit. With both switches on you should read 240V between two pairs of contacts and 120VAC to the ground (the round one).

If you have correct voltage only in one position then there is a bad infinite switch.
Check both receptacles in the cartridge where the elements are plugged in.

Simon.
