Today the ice maker and water in the door stoped working. The lights on the ice maker showing the size of the cube will not come on like it always has. The water in the door is also inop. I'm assumeing that I have lost power somewhere but I have no idea where. The lights and buttons on the door display appear to work.

Any Ideas.. I think it is one of the Pcb's but don't know which.

Thanks

Sounds like the problem is a bad dispenser PCB (#500C at the diagram).

- The PCB Part number: 6871JB2061C

Thanks Gene...

I'll give it a try and order the part. Any short cuts / tips or tricks on getting to it? Sure wish I had a service manual.

Hi Gene...

Just an update. I got a service manual today and started checking it further. It turned out to be a bad connection at the connector for the yellow wire at the top right hinge. I fixed that and all is well.

Thanks again for the help...

You are welcome. I'm glad you were able to find and fix it. Very often complicated problems end up being simpler than they seemed. Good job!

Gene.
