Hi,
I have a (Older 9-10 or so years old) whirlpool LP gas dryer and have noticed recently that there is a blackish color where the heat comes out inside the drum.

I am 100% sure the dryer was converted from Natural Gas to LP when we bought it.

What could be causing this to happen? What fixes could anyone advise me to do? Best way to get the black color out of the drum?

New to Forum-Thanks for your time and advice.

you may want to get ahold of your l.p. Provider to have them check gas pressure. Often times water will get into regulators vent and freeze.causing diaphram to open or close more than it should, causing this sooty build up.
