My Duet Gas dryer has been slowly getting less and less hot. Even on timed setting and high heat, it takes forever to get the clothes dry, and they never get really hot. The flame is on, and it get's warm, just not as hot as it should.

Does the dryer have a thermostat or thermistor? Where is it? and can I test it?

Thanks,
Evan

Hi.

Based on the information you provided there is the restriction in the air flow.

Unplug the dryer.

Take off the kick panel, remove and clean the lint duct

Part number: W10128606
Part number: W10128606

Check the exhaust vent behind the dryer and blower wheel compartment.

Here are the breakdown diagrams and Bulkhead parts for Whirlpool GGW9250PL0 - AppliancePartsPros.com

Post the results.

Simon.
