Hello,
I have a Samsung French door model RF26XAEBP making a loud noise when the fan is on. It sounds like the fan blade hitting some ice in the refrigerator side. The unit is staying cool, but ice is visible through the holes on the cover over the coils. When opening the door, the noise stops. I have read a few other topics where similar things happen but the fridge stops cooling completely. I thought I would seek advice since my problem is a little different. I plan to remove all food and take it apart and see what is going on. I also read the "2k resistor hack" posts in another thread on here and wondering if that is what I should try. Seems this is a known issue but Samsung won't do anything for me since it is out of warranty. Thanks for any advice!
