Hi All,
Hope you can help me with this issue I have here.
I have looked through the forums, but did not see a post involving the oven model I have; and so I started a new one.
I have a Whirlpool oven and cooktop range Model Number WERE300 SQ1 Type P30
After cooking breakfast today, I realized that the cooktop light was still on, yet all the burners were in their 'off' position.
Has anyone encountered a similar problem and have a suggestion to fix this issue?
Thanks Viv

I believe that the given model number is incorrect should be 3000 not 300. Here are your parts Parts for Whirlpool WERE3000SQ1 Range - AppliancePartsPros.comSee the attachment for the tech sheet. As you can see in the tech sheet the Cooktop On light is controlled by a set of contacts (switch) in the infinite control switches. Sounds like one of the switches is shorted and is holding the light on all the time. |
