I have a Kenmore gas dryer that does not seem to be getting hot enough to dry cloths. I have disconnected the vent to be sure that was not the issue. The dryer's flame fires up well and stays lit with a nice blue frame that is about 8-10" long. I can see the flames shooting up the Exhaust duct. A thermometer placed at the rear vent went up to 110* without any clothing in the dryer and went down to about 103 when wet clothing was added. No change is the size of the blue flame the entire time. Shouldn't the temperature get up to about 130* ?
Thank you for your assistance
Steve

Thank you for the model number. The outlet temperature on the high temperature setting suppose to be about 135°F-150°F. Remove the rear panel. You will see the thermostat heater under the cycling thermostat. Remove the wires connected to the heater terminals and insulate them. Run the dryer and check the temperature. Post the results. The thermostat heater Gene.
