My freezer is cold but my fridge side does not seem as cold as it should be. The evaporator fan does not seem to stay on blowing cold air into the fridge side. It turns on for @2 seconds and shuts off for @1 second and just continues this cycle without ever fully staying on which is why the fridge side is not as cold as it should be because it is not getting enough cold air blown from the evaporator fan.
I removed the back panel to see if there was any ice blockage. There seemed to be a large accumulation of ice on the coils but nothing blocking the fan. After I removed all the ice from the coils and plugged the unit back in the evaporator fan eventually turned on and stayed on for a couple hours until it reverted back to the continuous on/off cycle.
Any help would be appreciated!

I would suspect a bad adaptive defrost board 5303918476, meter would confirm. You can also take the evaporator fan motor out in plug it in the wall outlet.

Replaced the defrost control board and that fixed the problem.
