We have had an issue with the dishwaher, it stopped running and we are not certain of the problem.
Possibliy the fused link but I need to know how to test that componenent.

Dishwasher Fuse, Kenmore 675813...

Can anyone here supply me with the value of what to read on the existing fuse so that I can test it...?

Thanks,
rd

Hi.

Here is the thermal fuse Part number: 675813
Part number: 675813

It's clipped on the side of the control board and you can check it by testing it for continuity. You will need a multimeter.
Remove the kick panel and find there a tech sheet with instructions.

Thanks Simon,
I did locate the fuse and checked only for continuity, it is open... I did not know if that was all I needed to test for.

Good deal, I also did not know about the kick panel hiding a diagram. I cannot seem to pry the panel off. Try again after breakfast.

Thansk very much,
Rob

Hi.

Do not pry anything off! There are screws holding it.

When replacing the fuse use the new wires in the kit.

Yeah, that was a poor choice of words, I will check for the screws on the panel, 10-4 on the wires...

We still have snow clean up to do so I'll check this out later...

Oh, I have a jumper wire to test / verify that the fuse is the culprit. There should be no danger in checking that, correct..? Running the washer just for a few seconds with the jumper instead of the fuse...?

Thanks again,
Rob
