Washer runs through all cycles but makes a grinding noise when attempting to drain.
I have cleaned the filter - no debris. Water drains freely from the tub when I removed the filter, can't see anything at all stuck in the big black drain tube. Can't see anything in the smaller drain tube that goes out from the pump. Was thinking the pump may need to be replaced but want to be sure before I order the part.

I have removed the pump motor from the main pump assembly. Is there any way to tell if the pump motor is bad before I order a new one?

Thanks!
