I have an older Frigidaire Gas range/oven and it has been giving us some problems on the bake temps for a little while now. This unit has the convection "speed bake" option and we found that as long as we turned this on we could get equivalent baking temperatures and times to standard times. After doing some research on here I came to the conclusion that I was most likely going to have to replace the EOC, but our workaround was saving me the $100 so far. Today the unit has started displaying an f10 error code when trying to bake and it won't work at all now. I haven't actually checked, but I am assuming my problem is in the EOC and not the temp probe. I noticed that on other models it is suggested to replace the overlay with the EOC and I was wondering if this was necessary with my model as well?

Hi. The F10 code stands for "runaway" temperature. It could be bad oven sensor or the control board. Check the sensor's resistance and if it's around 1100ohm at room temperature - replace the control board. If it's off - replace the sensor Part number: 316490001
