Two things not happening on this old model.

Dishes are not being clean, due to the spray arms not getting enough water pressure to circulate?? Not sure.
Also noticed motor and solenoid connections are showing Continujity, but not the water valve connections.

Is the water valve suppose to provide a reading, and if so, how? Could this be my entire problem??

Here are your parts.

Open the door just after the first fill. Is there water in the tub?
Most units fill to just under the heater.

Yes, the water valve should have continuity.
Try a higher meter scale. If it still does not show continuity replace it,
The tub should not get any water if the valve does not have continuity.
Be sure to disconnect one side of the valve when measuring it. This prevents you from reading an alternate/parallel circuit path.
