when the repair man finished putting thedryer back together and left the drier worked ,and the drum turned, but when I put wet chlothes in the drier it would not turn. .Did the drier drum have to be put in the correct and what side of the ribbed belt do you put against the drum

Hi.

Take the top off and look how the belt is installed. Ribs down and not in the drum's groove.
To install the belt it should be looped arownd the motor pulley then the idler pulley pushed to the left and belt put on it.
