i have this particular model and it seems the main oven is not working due to a broken burner element ...my question is that 1. is it easy to install? and 2. i was told that when this happens to this oven other parts i assume electrical go bad what are those parts usually? i want to be able to order all the parts so i can fix if possible...

i will be ordering this part immediately. i have one more question? is it normal that this model gives off gas odor occasionally? i have had gas company in and they said they are picking up no reading....

Hi.
There is no such a thing as "normal " gas leak. Try to locate the area where it comes from so you can show it to the gas co. man.

got part super quick thank you...installed new element now whats the trick to get oven baffle back on.....those spacers are a bitch lol

got the baffle back on finally got everything all back together and..........nothing...i feel the top element heat up or the broiler element but the original element still isnt working......anything else???

Simon, i read a thread in here saying if buying the element does not fix the stove i might need to replace two circuits and/or fuses? if so where are these located? i see you have them in stock i think

Hi. There are four parts involved in the heating process. There are not cheap and require some skills. If you would like to do the troubleshooting and you have a multimeter please let me know. If you just wish to replace them one by one - they are: -hi-limit cut out, oven thermostat, selector switch, hot wire relay. Start with hi-limit located behind the kick panel Part number: WB21X5359
It's #540 on the diagram. To check it you may install temporary jumper to bypass it. Are you sure that the element was bad? Post the results. Simon.

Yes the heating element broke and appeared to short out after that it did not work....do you feel I should still start with relay

Hi.
First check the limit thermostat, then - hot wire relay.
