Yesterday I took the outer door cover off because the smell had been getting bad,I was able to get to the bottom outside of the inner door with a toothbrush nicely. After cleaning and reassembly I started it and it stopped midway through the cycle and now has no power to the control (no lights or function)I check the door switch continuity and have power to the control board. I checked continuity on the vent solenoid and it shows open in either position which I think is unrelated. On a possibly unrelated note the counter top under the control panel and the controls are always steamy at the end of a cycle not sure if door is not tight enough or what?

Hello,

If there is power to the control board and the thermal fuse is not open then more likely the problem is a bad control board.

Sounds like the vent has gone bad and needs to be replaced too. The instructions are in the attached tech sheet.

- The control board Part number: 8564543
Part number: 8564543

- The vent assembly Part number: W10328540
Part number: W10328540
