hello all-

i have received code E38, air chamber is clogged, error and the washer does not work. i have disassembled it and found out we had a rodent living in the bottom. clean and bleach, check for gnawed wires and fixed them, clean clean clean, re-assemble and i still get the error.

i checked the air chamber and cannot remove it. the pressure sensor appears to be fine as well. i have disconnected the pressure sensor, attempted to reset the machine, and have attempted to remove and clean the air chamber. thus far, no success.

suggestions? should i just order a new air chamber and pressure sensor?

thanks in advance!

quick update - i bought a new pressure sensor and installed it just to see if that would solve it. installed, pulled plug, plugged back in, got error code 38 again.

ordered the air chamber just in case.

any suggestions?

nothing? nobody?

air chamber and hose is on the way... hoping that will fix it. i guess the next step after is to put together the $300 to have a service man come out...

quick update - i ended up replacing the air chamber and hose, put it all back together and then got an E43 error. ran through the entire diagnostic sequence, reset the washer, ran codes again and the code went away. washing laundry today, so i guess i musta done something right.
