Ice dispenser in the door does not function. I have cleaned out the ice bin to make sure that it is not frozen up. It just stopped working. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Peter,

Remove the ice dispenser motor and test it as described in the attached instructions.

Thanks for the reply. Motor checked shorted circuit. I had hoped to avoid having to replace it, but it does not look to be that hard of a job.

Went through the motor test and found I had no voltage to the Motor. Pulled the faceplate off the ice dispenser on the door and found the plastic parts that hold the switch in place had broken, so when the ice lever was pushed back it didn't make contact with the switch and was not sending voltage to the motor. Just FYI for further trouble shooting.

I don't think you need more troubleshooting. Just replace the broken parts and you should be fine.
