Fridge stopped cooling although fans are OK. Heard clicking sound day before failure. Found compressor starter relay was toast (rattled when shaken). Replaced relay and overload but compressor still does not kick on. Could it be as simple as a bad capacitor or am I looking at a failed compressor?

Hello, If the fan next to the compressor is working then the compressor itself is bad. If the fan does not work then the problem could be a bad Adaptive Defrost control (#6 at the diagram). - The ADC Part number: 4388932
