dryer makes a noise like it is unbalanced. the belt is fine. have tried to level it, and that helps for a couple of minutes. what can i do?:mad:

It is difficult to diagnose a noise problem in a Forum like this because the primary way we do this is to listen and determine the type of noise and the location.

On these models a failure of the rear bearing is frequently the problem, so I would see if you can determine if the noise is near the rear and if so, install this kit.

While you have the dryer diassembled you might also replace the belt and the idler pulley parts, and then you should be good for a long time. Be sure the clean out the lint in the dryer, especially in the blower housing and vent to the outside.
