Then open the evaporator cover (in the freezer) and check how the evaporator is covered with frost. If it's only small area is frosted then there is a sealed system problem which is probably more expensive than replacement refrigerator. I defrosted it and let it set for an hour. Started it back up and I have 3-4 inches of the coils on the right hand side frosting up now. Are you saying that there is no repair or that it is just too costly? Thanks again.

Might not be worth it as the new units are much more efficient.
