Hi.

I'm not able to find the diagram for your model number. I'm using the similar one and I'm not sure it's the same wiring.
But in general if the burner indicator light is constantly on that require replacing of the corresponding infinite switch.

So I replaced the infinite switch and the indicator light stays on. What else can it be? Can it be one of the other switches?

If there is only one indicator light then yes - it could be any of the switches.
Pull off the wire from the P contact of each switch one by one.

P.S. You can return the unused switch even installed one.

So I do have an indicator light for each burner and also the warmer and even the "Element On" light. There is a total of 6 lights. The on that is on is the dual burner light which is dedicated to that burner.

Was thanked: 4 time(s) in 4 post(s)
Just to add my 2 cents...

One of the two wires form the indicator light should be connected to the terminal 4 at the infinite switch while the second wire should be connected to the range neutral. If the same problem exists with the new infinite switch then there is something wrong with the indicator lite wiring.

Gene.
