Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 11/8/2012(UTC) Posts: 1		my dryer quit getting hot so i thought the heating element went out i decided to use the air fluff cycle i put the timer at 20 minutes and the dryer never shut off until i opened the door so now im thinking it the timer:confused:

Did the timer advance but hang up just before off. If yes then it is probably a blown heater. If you look at the timing diagram you will see that the End Of Cycle gets power through Timer Switch 0 TM/OR contacts which gets it's power through the heating coil to drive the timer that last little bit to off.
