Looking under the dishwasher, there is a three teaspoon drip of water when the drain valve opens. The leak immediately stops when the valve closes.

The leak appears to be around the actuator arm/lever, which is moved by the solenoid via a rod. The solenoid, rod, or arm do not get wet. I'm guessing it has to do with the valve opening and some sort of seal has gone bad or the hole has become an elipse. Is it simply part WD8X181?

I'm assuming the leak will only get worse. What is the best practice to remedy this issue? Is/are the part(s) difficult to repair/replace? Will the part(s) come with instructions on how to R/R?

Thank you a head of time for your help.

Here are your parts
Parts for GE GSD3630Z00WW Dishwasher - AppliancePartsPros.com

Take a look at the Motor Pump Mechanism section.
You will need a seal Item 417 and a push-on-nut item 415.
Take note of how they go on when you remove them.

Also note how the springs are attached.

Remove the cir clip (Item 413) be careful not to loose it.
Then remove the solenoid and actuator etc.
Then the push-on-nut and seal. You will probably have to destry the push on trying to get it off.
Check the flapper valve shaft. If rust clean it up with a piece of fine sand paper or emery cloth.
Check/clean the hole where the seal goes.
I like to give the seal a light coat of lithium greas before installing it.
