Washer will not agitate, spin out in rinse cycle or drain

Not sure what the model number is...It has some different numbers on the back but not sure which it would be! When I first started having trouble, it would not agitate, but would spin out the water fine. I would have to spin it by hand while in washing mode to get my clothes to move around. This got old real fast believe you me. After a month of this (and my husband not being too concerned about it to say the least) I came in and it would not spin at all. The water was sitting in it, and would not go out. I had to take all the towels out and wring them out by hand. Of course I can't do this all the time. With 2 small children who has time to spend like that in the laundry room?? I am running ragged trying to find somewhere to wash my clothes. Can't afford the laundromat every other day. Can someone give me some idea of what can be done? Maybe something that I can do to get this thing up and going? I am willing to get my hands dirty and do what I can. I have nothing to lose right now. (Except my sanity)

Sears uses more than one manufacturer to make their
appliances so the model number is needed. Typically
their number begins with 3 digits followed by a decimal point
and a series of more numbers.

First says Part No 3952302 White Second says 3952303 Almond That is on the back of the top panel. Down below that (I wrote this all down) it says Stolle then a B Further down on the back of the washer it has 3356472. I'm not a pro at this forgive me.:(

Further down on the back of the washer it has 3356472. I'm not a pro at this forgive me.:( Thats the part number for the console. Although at least now I know who made it, its a whirlpool. This might help, an example would be 110.26844694

Thank you! I did find it this time:o) I'm sorry, I never thought to look under the lid. The number is 110.26842692 Serial CH0603662 Stock number is 26842 Thanks for your patience

I need to clarify some of what you said.
In agitation cycle does the motor run?
On the spin cycle is this a case where the motor runs, and water
drains but the basket does not spin?

Its been a while since it went out. had to spin it by hand I do know that...but it went on to the spin cycle on its own so it must have been doing something right. For a while it worked like this, then it stopped spinning entirely. Wouldn't drain the water either. A SEARS repairman told me he thought it sounded like a coupler, I think is what he said...Said it's a plastic piece that sometimes will break. But my hubby has never checked into it, so I'm just running on memory. If you think that might be it, then I might try to get in there and see for myself. I just can't figure out how to get in there where it is at.

The coupler could be bad but that would not keep the washer from
draining. You are going to have to run this unit through a cycle
and take note as to what it does and doesn't do before I can
go much further.

go much further. I will see if I can plug it back in and see what it does...We put it outside to put this OTHER one in here that has wound up doing the same thing. This is just the newer one I was hoping we could fix. I'll have to work on getting this thing hooked up somehow. If my husband doesn't help me, I may be at the end of this road cause I have no idea how to do it outside with hooking up water and such. Will be in touch.

If you want to check it outside you could get a "Y" connector (most hardware stores have them)  Then hook both inlet hoses on your washer to it an then hook the other end to a garden hose. Just make sure the drain hose doesn't lay on the ground or the water will siphon out of the washer. Then just use a heavy extension cord for power.
