Their is a thick brown liquid covering my compressor and fridge isnt cooling, i assume the liquid means the compressor has leaked or gone bad? is this something worth repairing? this is a low end fridge and replacing would be about $500.00 so any advice is helpful.

If it is from the compressor it would not be worth repairing.
A new compressor will cots close to or more than a new unit as you need a pro to install it. |
