My Whirlpool oven is clicking (clicks 3 or 4 times) like it is attempting to ignite, but it won't light. I hear the gas come on before it attempts to ignite. It is an intermittent problem. My stove top, and broiler work fine. Am I right when I think I need to replace the bake ignitor?

Make sure the igniter is clean and properly aligned with the burner lighting holes. Check if it does spark when the control calls for Bake. If it sparks good, replace the burner.
