It seems like the magnetic closure on the right door of the refrigerator has lost strength. If we close the left door quickly the right door opens slightly and remains slightly ajar. We do not notice it until the temperature alarm sounds. There is no mechanical interference when the left door is closed. The right door opens from just the displacement of air when closing the left door. The right door seems VERY easy to open, like the magnetic closure force has diminished. Do you have any suggestions?

Parts for Maytag MFD2560HES Refrigerator - AppliancePartsPros.com

Click on the following picture and a new page will open with a Q&A section which may help you.
It is Item 11 in Section 15 of the parts.
You may need it and the bushing.
It is also a good idea to check that the unit is level side to side.
It should be level front to back or leaning slightly back.

Hi everyone! I'm in a senior design group, and we are designing an automatic refrigerator door closer. We are performing some secondary market research, and wanted to get some feedback via online forums.

Basically, we are designing an aftermarket device to attach to a refrigerator door that would have some sort of a timer in it so that the door would automatically close after a certain period of time if left open. We are brainstorming functions anddesigns for this product and wanted to get any feedback or input from "potential customers". If you have any comments, suggestions, opinions, or questions, please reply to this post.

Thank you for your help!
