When you run it, it will start ticking immediately then stop after 3 seconds. Thing is about 15 months old. Doesn't matter how long you set the time for, stops after 3 seconds. Any thoughts?

Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Expert Joined: 10/21/2012(UTC) Posts: 263		Remove the upper grill and then remove the screw in the top of the control panel. Carefully lift it up and out. Start the microwave and see if you can get a better idea where the ticking is coming from.

I cannot figure out where the control panel access is on this thing. It is an over the stove model so there aren't any real panel access on the sides and bottom. maybe it is on the back?
