My fridge stopped cooling one morning and had water on the floor and I noticed that the condenser fan and blower inside the fridge was on but no compressor, I tapped on the defroster control and the compressor came on, I replaced the old control ADCII with a new ADCIV and new wiring harness that only required one of the micro switches to be used and it worked perfectly....... for about a month, now the same thing happened this morning, tapped on the cover that has the defrost control behind it and heard the compressor kick on has worked fine all day can anyone tell me why or what might be happening with this?

Yes both were running. Everything appears to be running normal. Just about the time you think everything is going to be fine the freezer will be thawing a simple tap on that defrost timer kicks the compressor on every time.

I would check all the plugs behind the control panel. Look for a burnt wire.

In such situation (tapping on the control box) besides plugs I would suspect the cold controls. Try to tap on the temperature control knob next time.
Gene.
