Ordered new ice maker motor, part #2252129. Do you go through the front of the door or the inside cabinet of the freezer to replace this part? If the answer is the inside cabinet, how do you take the inside panel of the door off (i.e., we couldn't find any screws under the weatherstripping holding it on)??

Hi.
According the diagram the access to the auger motor is from the rear of the freezer door. Look under the central part of the door. There is a rectangular cover with 2 screws holding it.Remove the cover. The motor is inside.
Simon.

Just to add my 2 cents... The instructions on that motor removal are attached to the post. Gene.
