Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 10/24/2012(UTC) Posts: 3		Hi,I have a GE profile spacemaker XL1800 (approx 7yrs old)...it all of a sudden started making a humming noise from the venting fan...it turns on but it seems not to be spinning full speed as b4. Everything else works fine. I tested both the HV cap and the motor cap and they checked out OK. I also tested the HV diode and I am getting a high resistance (8k ohms). Could it be a bad diode that is causing this? Many thanks in advance,

Gene. BTW, no one of them is connected in any way to any high voltage part of the microwave.
