Have a Maytag washer A412. I'd like to replace the 6686 timer. Purchased new timer 20-6686. Though Parts whse and Maytag claim the 20-6686 is the replacement, the timer's terminals do not match up.
20-6686 timer does not have terminals 7, 15 and 16. 20-6686 has a number of unlabled terminals, are these used for the 7, 15 and 16 which are the water control switch.
