I have a whirlpool dryer that is heating up, but the timer setting is not moving. The dryer will run all day and not cool down. Is it most likely the timer or is there something else that could be wrong?

If this is happening on all cycles the problem is likely the timer but you will have to replace it to be sure. If it happens only on some cycles, let us know which ones.
