My dryer quit running and I discovered that the door switch is broken. I have ordered a new one, but I need to know how to get to the old switch to replace it.

Hi,

Remove the two screws under the lint screen cover on top the dryer.
Then there are just a couple clips in front the hold the top down.
Push them in with a putty knife and lift the top.
