My French Door Maytag Refrigerator/freezer began leaking water on the floor. There is a layer of ice that builds up on the freezer floor. I defrosted it and have been vigilant about making sure both fridge doors are closed securely, but the problem keeps recurring.

Ours leaked water after each time we made ice. Turns out the freezer drain was frozen. It's in the back on the bottom. Defrost the freezer and make sure water is flowing through the drain into the pan underneath in the back. I used a hair dryer...
