We just bought this washing machine used. It seems to work fine, but when it is spinning in the spin cycle it makes a very loud roaring noise, like a jet engine running. The machine says it is very quiet- so the question is, should I try to fix this machine or return it. I imagine the problem is a bearing, but need help identifying which one. Thanks!

Hi.

Most likely you need to replace the main bearing Part number: 40004201P
Part number: 40004201P

and the face seal kit Part number: W10116790
Part number: W10116790

It's a big project.

Simon.
