I have a Kenmore coldspot side by side r/f. The door water works. The icemaker is not getting water. The valve is not clogged. The solenoid checks out on the ohmmeter. (Is it possible for the solenoid to check out on the ohmmeter and still be bad?) The icemaker (new) checks out. The only thing I have left is the wiring harness inside of the refrigerator. I guess that's more likely than the wiring harness. Anybody got any advice?

More than likely the water valve is bad. It can check ok ohms wise and still be bad. It is possible that the wiring is bad but the water valve is far more likely. If you have a voltage tester you can start the icemaker and test voltage at the valve. There should be voltage the last few seconds of the cycle. Hope this helps! Refrigerator repair guide
