My 14 yr old kitchenaid gas range is slow to lite or won't lite at all, all 4 burners. Is this a problem with spark module or something else? KGRT507BWH1 They all will spark if and when they want to. Could the problem be if one of the burner knobs has a problem and is not working properly like not popping up fully when you shut it off.

Do all the igniters spark? What is the digit after "H" in the model number?

Make sure all burners, burners caps and igniters are clean of grease and dry. Check the igniters ceramic part for any damages.

All parts are clean and free from grease and rust. No damage to any of the ceramics around ignitors.

Sounds like the problem is a bad spark module.

Also, can you be more specific on this problem:

- The spark module Part number: AP2994560

Could the igniter switch on the burner valve be causing the rest of the igniters not to work if it is not popping up in off position? It feel like it is not snaping back up when you shut it off?

If the ignition switch is bad then:

it would not close the ignition circuit causing the igniters not to spark at all

or

it would not open the circuit when it should, causing the igniters to spark non stop even when the gas (and flame) is off.

It can happen if the gas burner valve (#7 or #8 on the diagram) is malfunctioning.
