water is dripping into refrigerator area, causing a pool of water to form at the bottom of the frig, that runs out onto the kitchen floor. I disconnect the water line that runs to the ice maker and that wasn't the problem.

Hi.

Most likely the condensation drain is blocked and frozen.
To get to it remove the back panel in the freezer. Use the hot water, blow dryer and patience to clear it.
