LG side-by-side. Water to door, inlet to icemaker looks clear. Shutoff arm seems to be stuck in the "up" position, and there is a warning label on the icemaker that reads "Do not force the feeler arm down or up. It may damage the icemaker". Power switch on front of icemaker is on. 3 LED's on side of icemaker indicating size of cubes. The top and bottom lights are brighter than the center one when selected, but none are flashing. I removed the icemaker from the freezer to look at it, and the P/N for the icemaker unit is 5989JB0001A. Any ideas? I searched the forums for both these model numbers and got nothing. Hope someone has seen this before...

OK, did some more diggin'/fiddlin'...Fills, freezes and ejects cubes, but doesn't complete cycle quite far enough to drop the feeler arm, so it "thinks" it's full and doesn't eject until I reset the mechanism by press/holding the cube size selector. I disassembled the entire thing and went so far as to remove the motor, advanced the main gear and reset the motor. Apparently there is some other sensor that halts the movement at a certain point though, as it went through the entire cycle and stopped at the exact same point, ignoring the advance.
