I am so tired of buying ice and want this thing fixed. There is no water going into the ice maker but if I poor water in it will freeze and dump the ice. In the door, if you push the water dispenser you hear a buzz sound but nothing comes out. I put in a new filter and then tried holding dispenser for 5 seconds, off for five seconds and repeating about 20 times with nothing coming out.
If this is something I can fix, then great, if not can anyone tell me what I would expect to pay for the repair?

Hi.
First check if there is water supply to the fridge.
Then remove the thicker line from the secondary water valve and press the water lever at the dispenser. If it's coming out- check if the water is frozen inside the water reservoir. If it's not - repeat the test with the primary valve.
Check if the icemaker inlet line is frozen.
Post the results.

PS. The repair may cost you $200-300.
