Our Whirlpool quiet partner II in the last couple months has failed to start. in the first 1-2 mins after pressing start all the lights shut off. (No blinking lights) there usually is some water in the bottom after as if it tried to start. We have had it for 2 years and use it daily. Prior to this happening we always used the delay start option until we realized this was happening. Now we have to make sure it starts sometimes with many attempts to get it to start. The last 2 times pressing cancel after a failed attempt had gotten it to work but previously not every time (and some times the cancel button will not work also). I have not tried the sequence of buttons I had read about, wanted to start with a question to you first. Once we get it going it does still clean well. I have had one occasion last week it did stop mid cycles which was a first.

Please help

I have the same problem you have. Did you get a fix for the problem? Please let me know if you have a fix.

My dishwasher is about 2 1/2 yrs old. I have had this problem for about 6 mo. It has been very frustrating to make sure it starts.

Thanks!!!!

I am also experiencing a similar issue - have you had any luck discovering how to fix this problem?

remove the front panel and search for a tech sheet and put it into diagnostic. If it cycles through the diagnostic properly and you don't have button issues all the time i'd suspect a bad main board or keypad.
