For a while the DW wouldn't start. I reset by powering off and it worked a while. Now lights go on but will not start, no water goes in. When hitting start again I can hear the drain pump trying to get water out. Hard reset does nothing. Element gets hot, timer runs etc. Could this be amotor issue, inlet valve, float How to check? Thanks

Hi.

First check if the water is on.

Use the multimeter to check if the float switch is closed or open and water valve has 120VAC to it. Check if the main motor gets 120VAC (it may be jammed)

Here are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for General Electric GHDA670N20BB DISHWASHER | AppliancePartsPros.com
